Modi calls this country as Buddhist country . But this is not new . world know that . What is important is that whether we can bring Buddha's teaching practically in government ? What Modi wants to do in this regards . Buddhas Five Principles of Dharm were always needed to any society , nation , people if they want to develop , end crimes , end corruption , end unemployment , end greed and black money . We know some of the industrialist although not Buddhist by religion like Tata etc follow that but what about other money making people ?
Will Modi speak more clearly on some other occasion rejecting Brahminism , Varnwad ? We hope so provided RSS and other organizations like BJP etc permit him . Modi is Non Brahmin Hindu and naturally he got love for Buddhism as it had rejected Varnwad , inequality and cruelly in Vedic rituals in Hom - Havan . What Buddha said is that Brahmin Dharm is not Native Satya Hindu Dharm . He taught Satya Hindu Dharm all his 40 years . His followers called that Satya Hindu Dharm after his name as Buddha Dharm .
Therefore , we agree with PM Narendra Modi that Hindus are Buddhist and Buddhists are Hindus by default . We appreciate PM Modi for accepting this truth from Global Forum like Hindu - Buddhist Meet that went at Buddha Gaya during last 3 days .
